Managed IT and cybersecurity for Maryland businesses

Business IT.
Security at its core.

Your team needs more than a fix when something breaks. SignalHarbor IT brings everyday support, cybersecurity, and recovery planning together, with attention to how your people, systems, and information depend on each other.

Keep work moving

Help for everyday questions and interruptions, with ongoing care for the devices and systems behind the work.

Make security part of IT

Accounts, devices, sharing, and networks considered together—not treated as unrelated security concerns.

Prepare for recovery

Understand what needs to be restored, what depends on it, and what a workable recovery plan should cover.

Our services

IT managed with the whole picture in view.

Support, security, cloud tools, and infrastructure share the same people and systems. We consider those connections when recommending services, then define what will be managed and where additional project work may be needed.

Managed IT & Support

Unlimited support for covered day-to-day IT issues, with device upkeep and help through staff changes. We look beyond the immediate request to understand recurring problems and responsibilities.

Cybersecurity

A coordinated approach to protecting accounts, devices, and information. We help identify the safeguards your environment needs and how they fit into everyday management.

Microsoft 365 & Cloud

Administration and support for Microsoft 365, from email and shared files to user access. Keep the way your tools are configured connected to the way your team uses them.

Network & Infrastructure

Office connectivity, Wi-Fi, and the infrastructure connecting your systems.

Backup & Disaster Recovery

Backup coverage and a considered plan for restoring essential systems.

Business Phone Systems

Business calling organized around your people, locations, and communication needs.

Access Control

Physical door-entry systems and the credentials that govern access to your premises.

Cybersecurity in practice

Security is in the everyday details.

A colleague changes roles. A laptop is replaced. A folder is shared outside the company. Each is an ordinary task—and a security decision.

We consider identity, device protection, and access alongside daily support, so the safeguards fit the way your team needs to operate.

People and access

Who can sign in, what they can reach, and how that changes over time.

Devices and connections

How computers and networks are configured, maintained, and kept up to date.

Information and recovery

Where important data lives, how it is shared, and how it could be restored.

Backup & disaster recovery

Know what comes back first.

Having a backup is not the same as knowing how your business will recover. Which systems would you restore first? What else do they depend on? Who makes the next decision?

We help connect backup planning to those operational questions, so preparation reflects the order in which your business needs to get moving again.

Backup coverage

Recovery priorities

Defined responsibilities

Based in Linthicum Heights

Maryland-based. Focused on your operation.

A practice schedule, a client deadline, or a team split between office and jobsite can change what good IT support looks like.

SignalHarbor IT works with Maryland businesses to understand those differences and plan around them. The starting point is how your organization operates—not an assumption that every office needs the same setup.

Getting started

Start with what needs attention.

Request an IT review

Share the recurring issue, the change ahead, or the concern you haven’t resolved.

Talk through the priorities

We discuss the systems involved, the impact on your team, and what matters most.

Decide the next step

Agree the scope, responsibilities, and options before work begins.

Know the scope. Understand the cost.

See what is included, which costs are separate, and how the service fits your business before you get in touch.

Questions before you get started.

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

We focus on small and midsize Maryland businesses that rely on technology every day and need a more coordinated approach to support and security. Our priority industries include healthcare, dental, legal, accounting and finance, architecture and engineering, and construction. The fit depends on your systems and needs—not just the industry name.

What does managed IT include?

Managed IT is defined around your people, devices, and systems. It can include everyday support, maintenance, account administration, and coordination with other providers. Your proposal identifies the included work, support hours, and any separate licenses or projects.

Is cybersecurity included with managed IT?

Security is part of how we approach the environment, but that does not mean every security product or service is included in every agreement. We identify the relevant safeguards and make the included controls, responsibilities, and any additional services explicit.

What is involved in changing IT providers?

Start with your current setup, access, documentation, and contractual commitments. We discuss the handover before making changes, including what your existing provider needs to supply. The transition plan should fit the environment you have rather than force it into a standard timetable.

How is pricing determined?

The services required, the users or devices involved, and the complexity of the environment help define the scope. Recurring service, licenses, hardware, and separately scoped projects need to be distinguishable. Our Pricing page is the starting point for understanding the service model; an IT review helps address needs that require a closer look.

Do you work onsite as well as remotely?

The right mix depends on what needs to be done and where your business is based. Many support tasks can be handled remotely; physical installations and certain site issues need an onsite plan. We discuss the location, scheduling, and scope before agreeing onsite work.

Bring the issue that keeps returning, the decision you need to make, or the question no one has answered clearly. We’ll start there.
